Since moving to Tennessee, I have had the blessing of spending quite a bit of time with my granddaughter. I am learning new things from her on a regular basis. Maybe it is more of a remembering. What do I mean by this? Children are connected and open. As we grow older, more restrictions are put upon us, we are told what is right and wrong, what is successful, beautiful and good. As we take on these projections of others, we start to believe them and then, we create a smaller and smaller world inside of ourselves and "lose" this connection.
The truth is that we never lose this connection. It is always inside of us, waiting for us to remember. I have been in the process of remembering for the last 14 years. I am amazed at how much I forgot! Being with my granddaughter is creating even more remembering.
I want to help my granddaughter continue to expand her knowing and never let it go! How do we do this for our children, grandchildren and students. I think there are many ways we can do this for ourselves and those we love. My granddaughter and I talk about our dreams together, meditate together, play together and love openly and freely. I believe this will help us both to continue remembering.
I welcome any practices you use in remembering your truest inner being!
